They run regular drop in sessions where we offer information and support to people navigating the Greek asylum system, as well as assistance to people trying to access other services in Athens, such as housing and health care. As well, Khora Free Shop has provides access to clothing and shoes, as well as essential basic toiletries, and blankets. And the Social Kitchen offers meals 5 days a week. The Beehive Makerspace provides equipment, materials and studio space to enable a return to, or discovery of, creative arts and skilled crafts via the provision of classes, workshops and skill-shares.
Миссия
The aim of Khora is to facilitate shared ownership and active involvement by those who use the spaces and the local communities, to create spaces where people from a diverse set of backgrounds, cultures and languages can learn, work, create, socialise and relax. As well as to offering support, including but not limited to; Asylum Support, food, internet and computer access, information, workshops, and a space for women and LGBTQI+ people to relax and create.
